Look At That 05. 달려가잖아 06. 고래의 삶과 죽음 2009년 선배 뮤지션들의 전폭적인 지지와 관심을 받으며 데뷔한 듀오 '노리플라이'의 기타와 보컬을 맡고 있는 정욱재의 오픈 프로젝트 Tune 작은 실천과 사랑에서 시작된 Tune 녹아 내린 빙하들로 인해 수위가 높아지고 북극지방의 동물들이 설 땅이 없어 굶어 죽어 간지 벌써 여러 해가 되었다. 오존층의 손실이나 대기오염의 심각성은 이제는 더 이상 논의조차 되지 않는 익숙한 현실이 된지도 오래다. 지구에서 가장 크고 아름다웠던 아랄해가 사라져 가고 나무로 무성했던 섬들이 모래가 되어 바다에 떠내려가거나 섬나라 투발루는 점이 되어 없어질 운명에 처해져 있다. 사막의 무리한 개발로 지하수가 말라버렸고 비옥했던 땅마저 죽음을 부르는 곳으로 변해버린 지금 계속 현재 진행 중인 지구 환경의 고갈은 대부분의 사람들에겐 먼 나라 이야기라는 생각이 지배적일지도 모른다. 하지만, 이미 너무 늦어버린 ‘지금’일지도 모르지만, 환경보호를 위한 작은 행동들이 지구 곳곳에서 일어나고 있다. 사계절이 아름다운 한국도 멀지 않은 미래엔 겨울이 없는 아열대 지역이 될 거라는 가슴 아픈 전망이 예견되는 지금, 여기 한국에서는 ‘Tune’이란 이름의 환경을 위한 움직임이 시작되었다. 2009년 선배 뮤지션들의 전폭적인 지지와 관심을 받으며 데뷔한 듀오 ‘노리플라이’. 기타와 보컬을 맡고 있는 정욱재는 Unep(국제연합환경계획 [United Nations Environment Programme]) 한국 위원회의 일원으로 활동하며 지구 환경 보호를 위해 노력하고 있다. 특히 지난 2008년 올림픽 공원에서 열린 그랜드민트페스티벌에서 그는 음악인의 모습으로 무대에 선 것이 아니라 쓰레기 분리수거를 돕는 자원봉사자로 참여하였다. 손에 장갑을 끼고 묵묵히 분리수거를 하는 그의 모습은 페스티벌을 찾은 사람들이 자연스럽게 그 행동에 동참케 했던 신선한 자극이었다. 그리하여 페스티벌을 찾은 많은 사람들은 아티스트들이 화려한 모습을 보여주는 축제의 현장에서 조용히 분리수거를 하는 모습을 보여준 그를 그랜드민트페스티벌의 진정한 Mvp로 기억하게 됐고, 그렇게 조금씩, ‘Tune’은 시작되었다. ‘Tune’의 시작은 매우 소박하다. 환경보호를 위한 작은 실천이 모이면 반드시 큰 힘을 이루어 낼 것이라는 강한 믿음이 그것이다. 최근 그는 환경대학원에 진학하여 환경전문가로서의 꿈을 키우고 있다. 묵묵히 행동으로 보여주었던 작은 실천이 많은 이들의 감동을 이끌어 냈던 그랜드민트페스티벌에서의 경험처럼, 작은 행동과 관심이 커다란 문제의 해결을 위한 밑거름이 될 수 있을 것이라 믿고 있다. 그리고 그런 생각과 믿음을 자신이 가장 잘 할 수 있고, 사랑하는 ‘음악’을 통해 전달할 수 있기를 바라고 있다. 이제는 더 이상 가만히 있을 수는 없음을. 작은 행동이라도 보여야 할 때임을 말이다. Tune Your Mind -Tunes Origin- 여성인권을 노래한 ‘Janis Joplin(재니스 조플린)’, 자유를 외친 'Victor Choi(빅토르 최)', 환경운동을 몸소 실천한 ‘Jack Johnson(잭 존슨)’, 세계 평화를 위해 노력하고 그 사상을 전파하고 있는 ‘U2(유투)‘의 ’Bono(보노)', 부조리에 대해 거침없이 저항과 반항을 외치는 'Foo Fighters(푸 파이터스)‘에 이르기까지 우리에겐 늘 음악을 통해 더 나은 삶과 미래를 노래하는 뮤지션들이 있어왔다. 그리고 2009년 지금 우리 곁에는 ‘Tune’이 세상을 조율하기 위해 등장하였다. “Tune Your Mind”는 인간의 활동으로 생존마저 위협받고 있는 수많은 존재들과, 그들로부터 스스로를 소외시키는 인간이 남발하는 파멸의 부메랑에 대한 경고와 외침이다. -Tunes Action- 환경이나 자유를 노래하는 음악은 자칫 정치적인 옷을 입게 되거나 그다지 문학적이지 않고 세련되지도 않은 사운드로 표현될 수 있다. 그런 면에서 ‘Tune’의 접근방식은 남다르다. 깔끔한 논조의 강력한 록 사운드에 “우리 환경을 사랑하자”라는 식의 직설적인 가사의 사용은 자제하는 대신 “영상”을 이용한 사실적 표현으로 시각적인 충격을 주고 있다. 그리고 모두의 다양한 생각을 들을 수 있는 간소한 토론 형식의 공연과 웹사이트(Www.Tunetheworld.Net)의 캠페인 등을 통해 자발적인 참여를 이끌어 내고 있다. - Open Project : Tune - ‘Tune’ 프로젝트는 열려있다. 누구든지 정기적으로 가지는 토론 형식의 열린 무대에서 자신의 생각을 말 할 수 있고 미니앨범 “Tune Your Mind”에서 시도한 것처럼 비디오 아티스트, 스케이트 보더, 사진작가, 모델, 배우, 디자이너 또는 그 어떤 누군가가 되어 함께 참여 할 수 있다. 우리 스스로의 지속적인 행동이 진부한 낡은 것이 아닌 새로운 형태의 무언가를 만들어간다면 그것만으로도 우리는 더 나은 세상을 꿈꾸고 변화 시킬 수 있다고 믿기 때문이다. -Album Tune Your Mind- “Tune Your Mind”는 크게 “환경”, “사회적 메세지” 그리고 “사랑” 이라는 세가지의 타이틀로 이야기가 구성된다. 우리의 무절제함으로 아파하는 자연과 환경을 노래한 “아름다운것과 소멸되는것”, “내 함성”, “고래의 삶과 죽음”, 자유에 대한 의지를 노래한 "Freedom", 개인의 욕망을 채우려는 기득권층을 풍자한 "Look At That", 그리고 “달려가잖아”를 통해 놓쳐버린 사랑에 대한 안타까움을 강한 기타 위주의 록 사운드로 이야기하고 있다. |

We accept return(s) if :- you receive a product different from your order OR - you receive a defective product.
[ Return Instructions ] ① Post a return request on our Return forum within three days of receipt. You are required to attach the photos of the received product(s) and include the item code, the order number, and the reason for the return. ② A customer service representative will be in contact to assist you by email or phone. ③ Items returned must be in their original condition, which includes tags and any packaging. Also, you need to include a note of your order number, name, and user ID. Please be advised that returns are accepted ONLY IF you followed the instructions above and your return request has been approved by our staff.
