여성 싱어송라이터 박기영의 밴드 어쿠스틱 블랑, 모든 이들에게 위안을 주는 앨범 '어쿠스틱 블랑 Part.1'으로 돌아오다.

'국가대표 싱어송라이터'로 불리는 박기영과 한국인 최초로 스페인 바르셀로나의 리세오음악원 플라멩코기타를 최고 과정까지 우수한 성적으로 마친 기타리스트 이준호, 수많은 가수들의 라이브 세션과 녹음 작업한 참여한 실력파 베이스시트 박영신이 결성한 어쿠스틱 블랑의 첫 번째 미니앨범 [어쿠스틱 블랑 Part.1]은 뮤지션 스스로의 마음을 채우고자, 듣는 이들의 마음을 위로하고자 하는 마음에서 완성되었다. 첫번째 트랙 ‘To A Child Dancing In The Wind’는 악기의 소리가 들어가 있지 않은 무반주 트랙으로 박기영의 허밍으로만 녹음되었다. 어쿠스틱 블랑의 모든 곡이 그렇지만 특히 이 곡은 숨소리 하나도 연결이 끊이지 않는, 숨소리 마저 악기인 곡이다. 듣는 사람의 기분에 따라 마음을 안정시키기도 하고 위로하기도 하는 이 곡은 박기영이 딸아이를 재우며 흥얼거리다 만들게 되었다. 언제부터인가 이 곡을 불러줄 때 마다 딸아이가 잠을 자지 않고 두 손을 쫙 벌려 마치 바람 사이에 있는 것처럼 춤을 추기 시작해 to a child dancing in the wind 라는 제목이 붙여졌다. 두 번째 트랙이자, 선공개 되었던 싱글 ‘벨라 왈츠’는 아름다운 춤을 의미하는 제목으로, 기타리스트 이준호의 왈츠 코드웍 위에 박기영의 포근한 멜로디가 더해지고 박영신이 가사를 입혀 완성됐다.

그들은 곡 작업을 하며 곡에 대한 느낌을 서로 나누었고 사랑의 여러 가지 감정 중에서 봄의 기운과 같이 설레는 첫 느낌을 떠올렸다. 그래서 인간이 느끼는 실로 가장 아름다운 감정인 사랑이야기를 담고자 했다.

대화는 전혀 통하지 않지만 서로를 제 몸같이 사랑하는 엄마와 아기처럼 순진무구한 이야기. 사랑하기 때문에 어떤 요구가 있는 것이 아니라 무조건적인 사랑, 그 사랑이 주는 가장 원초적이고 아름다운 의미, ‘벨라왈츠’는 바로 그 ‘진정한 사랑의 의미’를 담고자 했다. 이 곡은 사랑의 의미가 점점 퇴색되어가고 변형되어 가는 요즘같이 아픈 시대에 사랑의 의미에 대해 다시 생각해보게 하고 마음을 정화하게 하는 위로이자 메시지다.

이준호의 클래식 기타가 연주하는 3박자 왈츠 리듬과 아름다운 솔로는 자극적인 것 하나 없는, 말 그대로 그 어떤 양념도 없는 천연의 ‘소리’ 그 자체이다. 전주가 시작되는 기타연주는 우리에게 스르르 눈이 감길 정도로 평온한 오후의 햇살 같은 아름다움을 선사한다. 곡의 중심을 잡아주는 베이스와 더불어 곡에 따스한 옷을 입혀주는 스트링 쿼텟의 선율은 봄볕의 햇살처럼 따사롭고 아름다우며 신비롭고 몽환적이기까지 하다. 듣는 이들로 하여금 살포시 고개 춤을 추고 싶게 만들 만큼 ‘아름다운’ 연주.

스페인어로 BELLA는 아름다운, 미(美)를 뜻한다. ‘벨라왈츠’는 이 아름다움에 주목한다. 아무것도 첨가되지 않은 사랑의 순수함만큼 아름다운 것은 세상 어디에도 없기 때문이다. 이 곡에서 박기영의 새로운 변화도 눈길을 끈다. 꾸밈없이 목소리만으로 감동을 주는 절제된 보컬, 맑고 청아한 음색, 초고음인 6옥타브 D를 편안하게 끌어올려 마치 목소리가 아닌 듯 악기처럼 연주하는 발성. 그녀의 음악적 변화와 함께 내적으로 더욱 깊어지고 산뜻하게 감미로워진 음색은 이 곡을 더욱 우아하고 아름답게 승화시켜 곡의 완성도를 최고치로 끌어올려놓았다.

세 번째 트랙이자 미니앨범의 타이틀곡인 ‘톡톡톡’은 외로움, 상처, 슬픔, 우울, 불안 등 누구나 겪고 있고, 겪은 바 있는 현대인들은 고독한 감정을 어루만지는 곡이다. 고독이 일상이 된 현대인들에게는 그 어떤 위로도 무심하게 스쳐 지나가기 마련이다. “어떤 위로가 진정한 위로일까”라는 고민에서 시작된 이 곡은 얼굴 위로 떨어지는 빗방울과 얼굴을 두드리는 내 손에 스스로 위로가 된다고 말한다.

이 곡은 현대의 일상을 살아가는 사람들이라면 누구나 가지고 있는 마음의 상처와 슬픔을 담담하게 그려내고 있다. 울분을 토하거나 화내지 않는다. 그 누구도 탓하지 않는다. 그저 스스로를 위로한다. 스르르 눈을 감고 침착하게 마음을 들여다보게 만든다. 톡톡톡... 어루만지며 “이제 괜찮아...”라고 말하는 듯하다.

네 번째 트랙인 ‘이야기’는 우리네 삶의 이야기이다. 각자가 바라는 꿈은 때론 같을 수 있고 다를 수도 있다. 하지만 누구에게나 공통된 삶에 대한 이야기가 있으니 그것은 어떤 꿈을 갖던지, 또 어떤 목표를 갖고 살아가던지 간에 모두에게 삶은 힘든 현실이라는 것이다. 이야기는 삶을 이겨내며 살아가야 하는 사람들에게 힘들 때 ‘울지 말고 힘내’라는 위로가 아니다.나도 그렇고 우리 모두가 그러하니 서로에게 기대서 울 수 있는 마음 또한 필요하다는 메시지이다. 한 숨 크게 쉬고 다같이 마주보며 실컷 울고 나면 속도 후련해지지 않을까? 이야기는 어떤 위로보다도 공감이 중요함을 말하고 있는 곡이다.

다섯 번째 트랙인 ‘어떤 느낌’은 차분한 남미 풍의 화음에 스페니쉬 룸바 리듬을 얹어 색다른 분위기를 연출한 곡이다. 멤버들과 연습 중에 ‘어떤 느낌’을 가지고 곡을 만들어보자는 얘기를 하다가 곡 제목이 어떤 느낌으로 자연스럽게 지어졌다. 이준호의 역량이 백분 드러나는 곡으로 기타리스트 이준호를 위한 넘버이다. 플라멩코 기타를 전공한 그의 색깔이 드러나길 원했던 박기영과 박영신의 염원이 담긴 곡이기도 하다. 단순한 진행과 멜로디지만 연주자들의 내공만으로 대작이 되는 그런 음악. 이제 시작이지만 음악가라면 누구나 도전하고 싶고 하고 싶은 그런 음악 말이다.

여섯 번째 트랙 ‘Nana’는 스페인어로 자장가를 뜻한다. 앨범의 에필로그인 차분하고 우아한 왈츠풍의 멜로디와 리듬에 이어 기타의 매력적인 주법인 트레몰로 주법이 뒤를 잇는다.

Returns & Exchanges

Requirements
Please take into consideration that we only accept qualifying returns but not exchanges.
Refunds are issued once the returned products clear our inspection.

An item is eligible for cancellation if :

- you posted a Return request within 24 hours of payment and your order is still under “Pending” status
(if your order is under “Queued for Shipment” status, please contact our customer service center) OR
- the order is delayed for more than 10 days since payment and you have not received any notification regarding the delay OR
- the ordered item is out of stock.

We accept return(s) if :

- you receive a product different from your order OR
- you receive a defective product.

① Post a return request on our Return forum within three days of receipt. You are required to attach the photos of the received product(s) and include the item code, the order number, and the reason for the return.
② A customer service representative will be in contact to assist you by email or phone.
③ Items returned must be in their original condition, which includes tags and any packaging. Also, you need to include a note of your order number, name, and user ID.

Please be advised that returns are accepted ONLY IF you followed the instructions above and your return request has been approved by our staff. Returns that are shipped to us without any prior consent are not accepted.
Please note that EVEN the defective/incorrect item(s) must be returned with all of the tags and labels intact. The item(s) must be sent in their original packaging and unworn.
Please include all contents of the original package and free gifts (if applicable) in your return packaging.
Shipping fee for any return caused by our fault will be paid by the company. However, if EMS’ cash on delivery is not possible then you can scan the return receipt and either mail it with the item to return or post an image of it on the forum.
The shipping fee will be refunded once the returned item has arrived.

We do not accept return(s) if :

- you are returning the items just because you changed your mind (on size, color, etc.)

The following items are not considered defective :

If there is a missing item from your order :
