Beck 09. 비밀의 방 10. 머물러줘 11. 솔직, 담백 12. 춤추는 대구에서 어쿠스틱 팝의 제왕, 모던 포크 듀오 '재주소년'. 서정성의 고유명사, 재주소년이 건네는 21세기 청춘송가 재주소년 4집 정규앨범 [유년에게] 2003년 첫 앨범 [재주소년]을 발표하면서, '포크의 귀환'이라며 평단의 극찬을 받았던 재주소년, 고집스럽게 포크를 고집하며 웰메이드 음악을 선사하던 이들 덕분에 다시 포크가 음악계에서 조명을 받게 되었다. 재주소년의 음악적 틀은 기타 한 대로 대변되는 소박함에 있었고, 재주소년의 어쿠스틱 기타연주와 노래는 재주소년을 추종하는 많은 후배 뮤지션들의 음악이 꽃피울 토양이 되었다. 박경환과 유상봉으로 구성된 재주소년은 정규 1집 앨범 [재주소년]을 발표한 이래, 2005년과 2006년 연달아 2집과 3집 앨범을 발표, 아날로그적 정서와 특유의 소년감수성으로 인정받아왔다. 지극히 일상적인 소재 '귤'과 '이분단 셋째줄'을 통해 대중적인 사랑을 받으며 따뜻한 기억들까지 함께 선사했는가 하면, '새로운 세계', '명륜동’을 통해서는 농밀한 음악적 깊이를 보여주었다. 화려한 스포트라이트 같은 것과 상관없이 꾸준하게 그 자리에 있을 것 같은 이들은, 24살이 되자 비슷한 시기에 군에 입대한다. 유상봉이 조금 빨랐고, 박경환이 그 뒤였다. 둘이 제대한 시점은 2008년의 중간즈음. 군입대로 인한 3년간의 공백 끝에 발표했던 [마지막 춤은 나와 함께]는 어느덧 소년에서 청년으로 변한 재주소년이 앞으로 들려줄 음악의 예고장 같은 것이었다. 급변하는 도시의 움직임 속에서도 '로프트'를 추구하는 사람들이 많아졌듯, 재주소년은 늘 그래왔던 것처럼 급변하는 음악계의 추세를 느림과 여백으로 역행하며 때묻지 않은 과감함을 보여주었다. 군에서 쓴 곡들과, 제대 후 하나씩 차곡차곡 쌓은 곡들로 구성된 [유년에게]는 갓 스물이 된 이들이 처음으로 ‘재주소년’이라는 이름으로 세상에 나왔을 때를 기점으로 그 전후를 거슬러 내려갔다 올라오는 긴 여정을 담고 있다. ‘21세기의 어떤 날’로 불리우던 이들은 처음부터 지금까지 진부하지 않되, 처음 느낌 그대로의 오리지널리티를 간직한 현재진행형의 음악을 들려주고 있다. '유년'은 우리 모두의 마음 속에 남아 있는 어린 시절의 기억이다. 자연스레 같은 세상에서 함께 성장하고 있는 재주소년은 재치있게 빠른 비트로, 혹은 박자와 리듬을 자유자재로 ‘유년’을 능수능란하게 요리하는가 하면, 그 특유의 소박한 멜로디로 봄을 노래하기도 한다. 여린 손목에서 어느새 굵어진 팔뚝으로 돌아와 기타를 연주하고 있는 이들이지만 전혀 어색하지 않게 느껴지는 건 이들의 감성이 순수와 성장 사이에서 공존하고 있기 때문이다. 앨범 북클릿 작업에 직접 참여할 만큼 오랜만의 앨범에 열의를 다한 재주소년은 실제로 앨범자켓촬영을 위해 떠난 제주에서 '소년의 고향'속 가사처럼 무작정 길을 걷다 유년의 친구들을 떠올리며 어느 학교로 들어가 아이들과 함께 뛰놀기도 했고, 상봉과 경환의 추억이 담긴 '농구공'을 통해 조금은 더 굵어진 이야기를 들려주기도 한다. 그럼에도 일상적인 소재는 더욱 세련되게 노래하고 있다. 베란다, 수학여행, 그리고 수학이 등장하는 '미운 열두살'과 동네, 버스가 등장하는 '손잡고 허밍'으로 일상적인 즐거움을 노래한다. 손잡고 허밍은 정규 4집 앨범의 신호탄으로 지난 5월 발표했던 디지털 싱글 수록곡이자 이번 앨범의 타이틀로 재주소년 특유의 담백한 보컬과 잔잔한 어쿠스틱 사운드가 요조의 피쳐링과 어우러져 따뜻한 이미지를 그려내고 있다. 위의 초반 트랙들이 세련된 팝 사운드를 뿜어내고 있다면, 후반 트랙들은 초기 재주소년의 정서와 닮아있다. ‘비밀의 방’이나 ‘머물러줘’, ‘솔직, 담백’, ’춤추는 대구에서’로 끝이 나는 후반 트랙들은 꾸밈없이 턱 피어난 민들레 같다. 너무 멋이 나서 넋을 놓고 바라보게 되는 그런 노래, 계절이 다시 돌아올 때마다 꺼내보고 싶은 그런 기억과 닮은 노래. We accept return(s) if :- you receive a product different from your order OR - you receive a defective product.
[ Return Instructions ] ① Post a return request on our Return forum within three days of receipt. You are required to attach the photos of the received product(s) and include the item code, the order number, and the reason for the return. ② A customer service representative will be in contact to assist you by email or phone. ③ Items returned must be in their original condition, which includes tags and any packaging.
