Belle and Sebastian
1996년 데뷔한 스코틀랜드 출신 6인조 록밴드. 스토우 대학 뮤직 프로덕션 코스의 과제로 만든 가 컬트적 인기를 얻으며 스타덤에 올랐다. 이후 꾸준히 활동하며 트위팝, 챔버팝 등의 장르를 구체화시키고 대선배인 틴에이지팬클럽(Teenage Fanclub)에 이어 트래비스(Travis), 모과이(Mogwai)같은 동년배, 이후 프란츠 퍼디난드(Franz Ferdinand)에 이르는 글래스고 록씬을 꾸려나간 대표 밴드이다. 로맨틱 영화가 떠오르는 멜로디, 빈티지한 이미지 메이킹으로 지금까지 탄탄한 팬덤을 형성하고 있으며 지난 앨범 에서는 재즈 싱어 노라 존스(Norah Jones)와 협연하는 등 다양한 모습을 보여주고 있다. 밴드의 리더인 스튜어트 머독(Stuart Murdoch)은 지난해 2009년 발매한 프로젝트 앨범 을 바탕으로 한 동명의 음악 영화를 제작해 감독 데뷔까지 마쳤다. 1999년 브릿 어워드의 신인상을 수상하고 작년인 2014년에 NME 어워드의 공로상까지 수상했다. 현재 밴드 역사 20년을 앞두고 있으며 약 5년만의 신보 를 발매하고 열혈 투어 중이다. 2010년 지산 록 페스티벌 이후 두 번째로 오는 2월 12일 한국에서 단독 공연을 펼친다.

Girls in Peacetime Want to Dance
는 벨앤세바스찬의 5년만의 신보이자 9번째 정규앨범이다. 벨앤세바스찬은 빈티지 디트로이트 테크노와 조지오 모로더(Giorgio Moroder)의 디스코를 들으며 과거 댄스 파티의 요소를 적극적으로 활용했다. 날스 바클리(Gnarls Barkley), 애니멀 콜렉티브(Animal Collective), 디어헌터(Deerhunter) 등을 작업한 의외의 프로듀서, 벤 앨런(Ben H Allen)과의 작업을 택했다. 이 선택은 신선한 긴장감과 독특한 스타일을 만드는 데 더할 나위 없는 역할을 했다. 오랜 지병과 이유를 알 수 없는 무기력증에 시달렸던 스튜어트 머독의 자전적인 곡 “Nobody’s Empire”으로 시작하여 첫 싱글컷인 “Party Line”의 디스코, 80년대의 유로팝을 적극적으로 차용한 “Enter Sylvia Plath” 등으로 이어지는 신보는 6집 이후 다시 한 번 취향과 스타일을 과감하게 확장하는 좋은 결과가 되었다. 는 6주 동안 애틀랜타 메이즈 스튜디오에서 녹음과 믹싱을 진행하고, 글래스고에서 약간의 추가 녹음과 믹싱을 했다. 마스터링은 애비로드 스튜디오에서 이뤄졌다.
그들의 고유한 매타포는 타이틀, 커버 아트워크 등에도 그대로 드러난다. 평소 외부적으로 AIDS 캠페인과 동성애 인권 옹호에 참여한 스튜어트 머독이지만 그 성향을 좀처럼 밴드에서는 표출하지 않았던 것이 사실. 이번 프로필 사진에서 그들은 스코틀랜드 독립 찬반투표 기사가 실린 신문을 보고 있고 “Nobody’ Empire”의 뮤직 비디오에도 그 성향을 확인 할 수 있다. 이에 대한 스튜어트 머독의 메시지는 아래와 같다.
“누군가 정치적인 레코드를 만들려고 하는 건 인생과 로맨스를 포기했을 때에나 할만한 일이죠. 하지만 전 예전보다 바깥세상에 대해 알게 되었다고 생각합니다, 나이를 먹으면 조금 더 주변이 잘 보이듯이 말이죠.”

벨앤세바스찬의 싱글 , < Nobody's Empire>, 이 디지털 음원으로 1월 중 선공개된 가운데 이번 신작 는 온라인 음원 사이트를 통해 2015년 1월 27일에, 음반(CD)은 2월 5일에 발매될 예정이다.

Returns & Exchanges

Requirements
Please take into consideration that we only accept qualifying returns but not exchanges.
Refunds are issued once the returned products clear our inspection.

An item is eligible for cancellation if :

- you posted a Return request within 24 hours of payment and your order is still under “Pending” status
(if your order is under “Queued for Shipment” status, please contact our customer service center) OR
- the order is delayed for more than 10 days since payment and you have not received any notification regarding the delay OR
- the ordered item is out of stock.

We accept return(s) if :

- you receive a product different from your order OR
- you receive a defective product.

① Post a return request on our Return forum within three days of receipt. You are required to attach the photos of the received product(s) and include the item code, the order number, and the reason for the return.
② A customer service representative will be in contact to assist you by email or phone.
③ Items returned must be in their original condition, which includes tags and any packaging. Also, you need to include a note of your order number, name, and user ID.

Please be advised that returns are accepted ONLY IF you followed the instructions above and your return request has been approved by our staff. Returns that are shipped to us without any prior consent are not accepted.
Please note that EVEN the defective/incorrect item(s) must be returned with all of the tags and labels intact. The item(s) must be sent in their original packaging and unworn.
Please include all contents of the original package and free gifts (if applicable) in your return packaging.
Shipping fee for any return caused by our fault will be paid by the company. However, if EMS’ cash on delivery is not possible then you can scan the return receipt and either mail it with the item to return or post an image of it on the forum.
The shipping fee will be refunded once the returned item has arrived.

We do not accept return(s) if :

The following items are not considered defective :

If there is a missing item from your order :
