'트립합'하면 절대 빼놓을 수 없는 그룹. 처음 이들의 음악을 접했을 때의 당혹감을 잊을 수가 없다. 또다른 미래음악의 몽환성을 발산하고 있는 포티쉐드의 첫 앨범이다. 첫 싱글은 'Nobody Loves Me'의 부제가 붙은 'Sour Times'. 이곡은 라디오 전파와 뮤직비디오를 통해 알려졌고 이후 'Numb'이 두번째 싱글이 되면서 본작의 영향력은 영국와 미국으로 널리 확산됐다. 보컬 베쓰 기븐스는 사진 찍히는 것과 인터뷰하는 것을 을 매우 싫어한다. 실제로는 이야기하는 것을 좋아하지만 밴드의 이미지가 아닌 음악으로서만 평가받고 싶기 때문이라고. 멜로디메이커와 믹스맥(Mixmag), 페이스(The Face) 같은 유명 매체로부터 올해의 앨범으로 선정되었던 [Dummy] 중에서 'Glory Box'는 95년 라디오에서 방송된 적도 없는데 놀랍게도 13위로 데뷔했었다. 이 앨범은 제프 바로우의 코치하우스 스튜디오앨범이기도 하며 디페쉬 모드(Depeche Mode)와 라이드(Ride), 프라이멀 스크림(Primal Scream), 가브리엘(Gabrielle)과 작업했던 그의 믹싱실력과 레코딩에 힘입은 바 크다. 영화음악 매니아이기도 한 제프의 취향때문인지 포티쉐드의 음악은 시네마틱 사운드에도 쉽게 동요되는 부분이 있다. 뭉툭한 기타사운드와 스크래칭의 드럽식 드럼스타일의 'Mysterons'를 시작으로 70년대 스파이영화 007사운드를 연상케하는 'Sour Times', 재즈스타일의 스크린 영사기소리가 들리는 'Strangers'에서 베쓰는 그녀의 여린 바이브레이션을 효과적으로 사용했다. 매시브 어택을 연상시키는 전형적인 트립합 트랙 'It Could Be Sweet'는 소울풀하고 재지한 분위기의 곡으로 국내 화장품 CF의 배경음악으로 쓰이기도 했다. - you posted a Return request within 24 hours of payment and your order is still under “Pending” status (if your order is under “Queued for Shipment” status, please contact our customer service center) OR - the order is delayed for more than 10 days since payment and you have not received any notification regarding the delay OR - the ordered item is out of stock.
We accept return(s) if :- you receive a product different from your order OR - you receive a defective product.
[ Return Instructions ] ① Post a return request on our Return forum within three days of receipt. You are required to attach the photos of the received product(s) and include the item code, the order number, and the reason for the return. ② A customer service representative will be in contact to assist you by email or phone. ③ Items returned must be in their original condition, which includes tags and any packaging. Also, you need to include a note of your order number, name, and user ID. Please be advised that returns are accepted ONLY IF you followed the instructions above and your return request has been approved by our staff. Returns that are shipped to us without any prior consent are not accepted. Please note that EVEN the defective/incorrect item(s) must be returned with all of the tags and labels intact. The item(s) must be sent in their original packaging and unworn. Please include all contents of the original package and free gifts (if applicable) in your return packaging. Shipping fee for any return caused by our fault will be paid by the company.
