01 My Soul 02 기적 03 기적(Acid Funky Version) 04 기적(Piano Version) 05 My Soul (Piano Only) "언제나 기뻐하고 언제나 감사한 날들... 바로 그 날들이 기적입니다." 선(善)한 울림과 청아한 보컬이 매력적인 그레이스(본명 김은혜. 1983년생)가 첫 앨범 'Miracle'을 발표하며 공식적으로 CCM 가수 데뷔를 알렸다. 동덕여대 방송연예과를 졸업한 그레이스는 TTL 가요제(2005년), 경기도 CCM(2003년)대회, 청소년 연합 CCM 대회 (2007년) 등에서 대상을 수상할 만큼 노래실력과 음악성을 검증받았다. 그녀는 현재 문미엔(문화 미디어 엔터테인먼 트에 종사하는 젊은 크리스천들의 모임)미니스트리와 싸이더스에서 예배인도자로 활동하고 있다. 그레이스의 첫 데뷔앨범 'Miracle'의 타이틀곡 '기적'은 유명작곡가 겸 가수 양정승의 곡이며 노랫말은 그레이스와 양정승이 공동으로 지었다. '기적'은 그레이스의 기도로 이루진 가사다. '죄인 된 나를 끝까지 사랑해주시고 구원해주시는 아버지께 드리는 감 사의 기도. 나를 사랑해주시고 구원해주신 그 은혜를...' 그레이스는 "아버지께만 올려드리는 새로운 찬양이 탄생하 고 그것을 자신의 이름으로 부른다는 게 아직도 꿈만 같다"고 고백한다. 그리고 "항상 같은 마음으로 찬양하고 더 낮은 마음으로 사랑하고 섬기는 딸이 되고 싶다"고 다짐한다. 타이틀곡 '기적'은 발라드 버전과 펑키 버전이 있다. 발라드 버전은 Holy Pop ballad 계열의 곡으로 최대한 보컬의 섬세한 느낌을 살리려 했다. 특히 아주 작은 호흡부터 가사가 가진 의미를 심도 있게 전달하기 위해 노래를 마치 귓 가에 속삭이듯 전달해내려 했다. 펑키 버전은 빠른 템포의 곡이지만 기쁨과 눈물, 감동과 같은 정서를 살리기 위해 바운스를 가미한 열정적인 곡이다 . 특히 전체적인 분위기를 감동의 코드화하기 위해 리듬의 중요성을 극대화 시켰다. 또한 편곡스타일은 그레이스의 음역대를 최대한 장점으로 살려 3옥타브 고음역대를 넘나드는 시원하고 경쾌한 긴장감을 주는데 주력하였다. 이 곡 역시 가사전달에 중점을 둔 노래이다. 온 마음으로 하나님께 드리는 그레이스의 기도와 같은 '기적'이 낱말 하나하나 한 문장 한 문장 모든 내용이 우리 의 가슴으로 들어와 듣는 이의 영혼을 위로해 주길 기도해 본다.
