Sparkling Sunshine (Archive Ver.) 어느덧 가을이 시작될 무렵, 프로듀서 caspertheam과 사람의 소리보다 바람 소리가 더 크게 들리는 곳으로 캠핑을 떠났다. 망치질을 하며 텐트를 세우고, 불을 피우고, 마트에서 산 싸구려 위스키에 콜라를 대충 섞어 잭콕을 마셨다. 고기를 굽고 연기가 천천히 흩어지는 사이, 낮의 공기가 밤의 냄새로 바뀔 때까지 쉬지 않고 음악 이야기만 했다. 어떤 곡은 왜 그렇게 슬펐는지, 그 시절엔 왜 그런 멜로디를 썼는지, 무대 뒤로 지나가버린 시간들과, 결국 마지막엔 음악만 남게 되는 순간들에 대해서. 이번 앨범은 그렇게 시작됐다. 피아니스트 윤한의 기존 작품들을 바탕으로, 힙합/R&B 프로듀서 caspertheam이 재즈 힙합과 로파이 스타일로 새롭게 재해석한 콜라보레이션 앨범이다. 원곡이 가진 멜로디와 감정선은 유지하면서도, 빈티지한 질감과 느슨한 비트, 아날로그적인 공기를 더해 또 다른 시간의 분위기로 풀어내고자 했다. 이번 작업은 단순한 리메이크라기보다는, 윤한의 음악 세계를 함께 돌아보는 하나의 회고에 가까웠다. 오래된 기억과 늦은 밤의 대화, 그리고 지나간 계절 속 장면들을 마치 한 편의 필름처럼 음악 안에 담아내고자 했다. |
