Rigaudon 2025 반 클라이번 콩쿠르 골드메달리스트 아리스토 샴 [Time Line] 2025년 반 클라이번 국제 피아노 콩쿠르 우승자, 홍콩 피아니스트 아리스토 샴(Aristo Sham)이 새 앨범 발매했다. 콩쿠르 우승 후 인터내셔널 투어의 주요 레퍼토리를 담은 이 앨범은 바흐의 '토카타'와 부조니 편곡 버전의 '샤콘느', 브람스의 '코랄 전주곡'으로 시작되며 이어 그리그의 '홀베르그 모음곡'을 통해 바로크 시대 춤곡 형식에 낭만주의 감성을 더한다. 앨범 제목처럼 클래식 음악사의 흐름과 바흐의 영향을 자연스럽게 느끼게 하려는 샴의 의도를 엿볼 수 있다. 아리스토는 하버드 대학교에서 경제학 학사를, 뉴잉글랜드 음악원에서 피아노 연주 석사를 취득하는 복수 학위 과정을 이수했으며, 이후 줄리아드 음악원에서 아티스트 디플로마를 마쳤다. 그라모폰 매거진은 반 클라이번 콩쿠르에서의 그의 연주를 두고 “영감을 불러일으키며 마땅한 기립박수를 이끌어냈다”고 평했다. 그는 전 세계 300명 이상의 경쟁자를 제치고 이 권위 있는 국제 콩쿠르에서 홍콩 피아니스트 최초로 우승을 차지했다.
