TRACK LIST 추후 공개 DETAIL INFO 크기: 가로140mm*세로125mm*두께 8mm (디지팩) 영국의 5인조 소울 밴드 마마스 건(Mamas Gun)이 오는 4월 10일 정규 6집 [DIG!]을 발매한다. 이는 지난 2022년 정규 5집 [Cure the Jones] 이후 4년 만의 정규 앨범이며, 마마스 건이 오랜 시간 만들어낸 깊이 있고 진정성 있는 소울 음악을 보여줄 앨범이다. 이번 앨범은 아날로그 테이프 방식으로 녹음되어 다섯 멤버의 연주가 지닌 온기와 생동감을 그대로 담아냈다. 사랑, 가족, 희망, 구원 등 보편적인 주제를 중심으로 소울·재즈·가스펠을 자유롭게 넘나들며 깊은 울림과 위로를 전한다. 특히 이번 앨범에는 미국의 전설적인 아티스트 브라이언 잭슨(Brian Jackson)이 타이틀곡 ‘DIG!’에 참여해 해당 곡이 가진 재즈 펑크 스타일을 더했다. 선공개 싱글 ‘Food For The Flames’와 타이틀곡 ‘DIG!’를 비롯해 ‘Joy’, ‘Wings’ 등 수록곡들은 정교한 편곡과 조화로운 가스펠 하모니, 그리고 마마스 건 특유의 소울 사운드를 선명하게 보여준다. 정규 6집 [DIG!]에 대해 멤버들은 “앨범의 성과나 수치를 넘어, 음악 그 자체로 사람들과 깊이 연결되고자 하는 우리의 철학이 가장 진하게 담긴 앨범”이라고 전했다. |
