Tempo Di Valse 00:04:44 임윤찬 [차이콥스키: 사계] 깊이 있는 해석으로 새롭게 태어난 차이콥스키 불멸의 걸작 차이콥스키의 대표적인 피아노 소품집 '사계' (The Seasons)를 깊이 있는 해석으로 담아낸 임윤찬의 새로운 앨범. 열두 곡을 계절의 변화가 아닌 인간 삶의 마지막 한 해에 대한 이야기로 그려냈다. 임윤찬에 따르면 작품은 한 인물이 화롯가에 앉아 과거를 떠올리는 것으로 시작해 평화로운 작별 인사로 끝을 맺는다. 각각의 곡에는 슬픔부터 사색, 즐거움, 사랑과 평화에 이르기까지 제각기 다른 순간 또는 감정이 담겼다. 임윤찬은 2023-2024 시즌 본 작품을 무대에서 선보이며 전 세계 평단과 청중으로부터 뜨거운 찬사를 받았다. 프랑스의 디아파종(Diapason)은 “피아노를 타고 흐르는 아름다움과 숙련된 테크닉은 비현실적으로 느껴질 정도였다. 누구도 '사계'가 청중들에게 그토록 깊은 울림을 줄 수 있으리라고는 믿지 못했을 것이다.”고 극찬했다. 커버 아트워크는 아티스트 최호연이 맡았다. 제목은 '꽃잎의 무게는 얼마나 될까?' (How Much Do the Petals Weigh?)로 '사계'에서 느껴지는 감정과 질문들을 담았다.
