'Talkin' New York', 'Song To Woody'를 포함해 밥 딜런이 클럽과 카페를 전전하며 노래했던 곡들이 실려있다 'Talkin' New York'은 자유로은 리듬속에 푸념섞인 이야기를 늘어놓는 포크송의 한 형식으로, 고향을 떠나 뉴욕의 포크가수로 자리 잡으려 애쓰던 딜런 자신의 뉴욕이 녹아있다 'Song To Woody'는 자신의 우상인 포크 거장 우디 거스리 (Woody Guthrie)에게 바치기 위해 밥 딜런이 처음 작곡한 노래로 유명하다.
