Polska (폴카) DETAIL INFO • 앨범사양 : 1CD 쥬얼박스 “Illumination은 빛, 조명, 이해, 깨달음, 설명 등의 뜻을 포괄한다. 마치 다른 곳은 어두우나 무대 위 연주자를 향한 불빛은 환하게 켜져 있는 것처럼 Illumination은 어둠 가운데 환하게 켜진 불빛을 뜻한다. 빛이 소중한 이유는 눈길을 사로잡는 밝고 환한 불빛과 함께 빛으로 인해 묻히고 가려졌던 존재를 드러내기 때문이다. 주목받지 못했던 것들을 향한 관심, 자신만의 방식으로 고민해보는 음악의 가치는 예술가의 ‘빛’, 예술가의 ‘남과 다르게 보기’를 통해 곱씹어보게 되는 것들이다. 지금도 진행형인 바이올리니스트 김현미의 음악 여정이 바로 그런 빛의 의미에 가장 잘 어울리는 것이라 해도 과언이 아닐 것이다.” 김수진(한국예술종합학교 음악원 음악학과 조교수) 베토벤 바이올린 소나타에 빛을 비추며, 베토벤 바이올린 소나타 전곡 프로젝트를 진행하고 있는 바이올리니스트 김현미의 세 번째 음반 이번 음반에는 베토벤이 1797년에서 1798년 사이에 작곡한 바이올린 소나타 1, 2, 3번과 스웨덴의 바이올리니스트이자 작곡가인 토르 아울린의 “4개의 수채화’가 수록되어 있다. 한국예술종합학교 교수로 재직중인 바이올리니스트 김현미는 1991년 창단된 Quartet 21 창단 멤버이자, 코리아나 챔버 뮤직 소사이어티 음악감독을 맡고 있으며, 최근 젊은 음악가들과 실내악 단체 “Ad Musica”를 결성하였다. 베토벤 바이올린 소나타 전곡을 음반으로 만들어 가고 있으며, 베토벤 소나타 5, 6, 8번과 코른골트 ‘헛소동’ 모음곡 Op. 11이 수록되어 있는 첫 번째 음반 음반 녹음에는 그 동안 여러 차례 호흡을 맞춰온 피아니스트 오윤주와 함께 연주하며 음악적 대화를 전한다. |
