Cello Suite No.6 in D major, BWV 1012 (13-18) 서른살의 젊은 도전, 문태국이 연주하는 바흐 불멸의 걸작 무반주 첼로 모음곡 "그의 바흐 해석은 명확하고 세심하며, 클라이맥스에서의 섬세한 터치로 곡의 형식을 아름답게 드러낸다.” - 그라모폰 첼리스트 문태국이 오는 10월 7일 바흐의 무반주 첼로 모음곡 전곡 앨범을 발매한다. 이번 앨범은 문태국만의 깊이 있는 해석이 이 불멸의 걸작에 새로운 생명을 불어넣는다. 문태국은 2011년 앙드레 나바라 국제 첼로 콩쿠르와 2014년 파블로 카잘스 국제 첼로 콩쿠르에서 우승하며 국제적 주목을 받았고, 2019년 차이콥스키 콩쿠르에서도 4위를 기록했다. 그의 워너클래식에서 데뷔 앨범 <첼로의 노래>는 파블로 카잘스에게 헌정된 작품으로 그라모폰에서 바흐 해석에 대한 찬사를 받았다. 이번 앨범에서는 데뷔 앨범에서 연주했던 모음곡 1번을 넘어 6개의 모음곡 전곡을 선보이며 더 깊어진 음악적 탐구를 보여준다. 녹음 과정에서 문태국은 바흐의 원숙한 표현을 위해 거트 하이브리드 현과 바로크 활을 사용했고, 모음곡 5번에서는 변칙조율(스코르다투라) 기법을, 모음곡 6번에서는 피콜로 첼로를 사용해 독창적인 해석을 더했다. 문태국은 “바흐의 무반주 첼로 조곡은 첼리스트들에게 도전이 되는 작품으로, 이번 앨범을 통해 바흐의 세계를 현대적인 감각으로 전달하고 싶었다”고 전했다. |
