Part 1”은 제 인생의 여정을 음악으로 표현한 앨범입니다. 막연하게 음악이 좋아서 엔지니어의 길을 택했지만, 제 노력과는 별개로 남들과 비교했을 때 뒤처진다는 생각이 들 때마다 수천 번도 넘게 이 길이 맞는지에 대한 의구심이 들었었습니다. 그럼에도 묵묵히 한 걸음씩 나아가다 보니 어느새 제가 팬으로서 동경하던 Nas, Hit-Boy 등 기라성 같은 아티스트들과 협업을 하고 노력의 결실로 그래미 어워드까지 수상하게 되었습니다. 엔지니어로 일하다 보니 어느 새부터 저의 음악을 들려주고 싶은 욕심이 생겨 프로듀싱에 매진하였고 이런 저의 포부를 전했을 때 너무나 감사하게도 국내 최고의 아티스트분 들이 선뜻 참여해 주셨습니다. 이 앨범은 결코 제 자신을 자화자찬하려고 만든 앨범이 아닙니다. 다만, 여러분들에게 음악을 통해 위로, 그리고 용기와 희망을 불어넣고 싶은 저의 바램이 담긴 앨범입니다. 프로듀서 YUNGIN이 선보이는 데뷔 앨범 [Did You Know?
