Solitude 재즈 피아니스트 송영주 10번째 정규앨범 [Atmosphere] 피아니스트 송영주가 정규앨범으로 돌아왔다. 2018년 피아노 솔로 앨범 [Late Fall] 이후 4년 만이다. 그리고 새로운 신곡 앨범으로는 2014년 [Between] 이후 8년 만이다. 코로나동안 외부와 단절된 음악활동 환경 안에서 송영주는 자신만의 고독과 성찰의 시간을 보냈다. 이러한 마음들이 고스라니 음악으로 표현되고 완성됐다. 송영주는 10번째 앨범 [Atmosphere]를 통해서 대한민국을 대표하는 재즈 피아니스트로서 보다 섬세하고 감성적인 음악적 표현의 완성으로 나아가며, 더욱 깊어진 음악으로 감동을 선사한다. 홀로 춤을 추기도하고, 고독을 벚 삼아 즐기며, 모든 것이 정지한 시간 안에서도 그녀의 음악은 멈출 줄을 몰랐다. 스스로 돌아본 과거와 현재, 또 미래에 대한 생각들을 즉흥연주의 자유로움과 연주자들간의 조화로움을 더해 담아냈다. 이번 앨범에는 뉴욕 재즈의 중심에 서있는 오랜 음악적 동료 연주자들이 함께 했다. 베이스에는 로버트 글래스퍼 트리오에서 활동해오고 있는 비센테 아쳐(Vicente Archer)가, 드럼에는 칙 코리아 밴드와 펫 멧시니 트리오에서 연주한 마커스 길모어(Marcus Gilmore), 테너 색소폰에는 [Reflection] 음반에 참여했던 존 엘리스(John Ellis)가 다시 한 번 함께 호흡을 맞추며 작품에 힘을 더 했다. 힘찬 사운드로 앨범의 문을 여는 'A New Beginning'를 비롯해, 타이틀 곡 'Atmosphere', 'Dancing Alone' 등 신곡 10곡을 통해 스스로의 내면을 면밀히 들여다보고 그 자신을 투영해 놓은 그녀의 Atmosphere를 느껴 보시기를 바란다.
