001 여민락 1장 002 여민락 2장 003 여민락 3장 임진옥 대금 여민락 임진옥 선생님과 나는 대학 시절에 함께 미국 공연을 간 경험이 있다. 40일간의 미국 15개 주를 다니면서 15개 대학에서 순회공연을 하였다. 함께 공연도 하고 여행을 하면서 임진옥 선생님의 깔끔하고 담대한 성격을 옆에서 직접 느끼는 기회를 가질 수 있었다. 임진옥 선생님은 침착한 성격만큼이나 대금 소리도 맑고 깨끗하다. 민속악과 창작곡의 연주도 일품이지만 특히 대금 소리는 그의 스승인 녹성 김성진 선생의 대금 음색을 그대로 닮았다. 대금의 소리와 음색이 평안하고 담담하며 풍부한 정서가 깃들어 있다. 그것은 임진옥 선생님이 작곡과 지휘 활동을 통해서 체득한 음악적 성향이라고 생각된다. 다른 악기도 마찬가지이지만 대금 소리는 그 사람의 성품을 그대로 대변한다고 할 수 있다. 임진옥 선생님의 맑고 투명한 대금 소리는 그의 맑고 담백한 성격에서 나오는듯하다. 지금까지 많은 선생님들과 선배님들의 대금 소리를 들어 왔지만 임진옥 선생님과 같이 맑고 담백한 대금 소리는 거의 들어본 적이 없다. 대금 음반 출반과 독주회 등 대금 연주 활동에 정진하는 임진옥 선생님의 대금 소리는 지금도 진솔한 감동으로 다가오고 있다. - 글 안성우 (한양대학교 교수) - 서울대학교 음악대학 및 동대학원 졸업 - 고려대학교 문학박사 - 동아콩쿨작곡상 수상 - 대한민국작곡상 수상 - 국립국악원 상임지휘자 역임 - 대전시립연정국악원 상임지휘자 역임 - 서울시립국악관현악단, KBS국악관현악단, 부산시립국악관현악단 객원 지휘 - 한국문화예술교육위원장 역임 - 수원대학교 교수(부총장) [현재] - 대금정악회 대표 - 양주풍류악회 회원 - 대금연구회 이사 - 국가무형문화재 대금정악 전승교육사 - 수원대학교 명예교수 [수록곡 소개] <여민락>은 세종대왕 시대인 1447년(세종29년)에 창작되었으며 ‘백성과 더불어 즐긴다’라는 의미를 담고 있는 음악이다. <여민락>의 현재 연주형태는 관현악의 모습이나 관악기 중심으로 연주될 때는 <승평만세지곡>으로 현악기 중심으로 연주될 때는 <오운개서조>라는 명칭으로 각각 사용되기도 하였다. 원래의 <여민락>은 한문으로된 용비어천가의 1장, 2장, 3장, 4장 그리고 125장을 관현합주곡에 맞추어 부르도록 작곡된 곡이었으나 현재는 가사없이 마치 순수기악곡처럼 연주되고 있다. <여민락>은 임금의 출궁과 환궁때와 처용무, 향발무 등의 반주곡 그리고 많은 연향에 사용되었다. <여민락>은 피리, 대금, 당적, 해금, 가야금, 거문고, 아쟁, 장구, 좌고 등으로 편성하며 곡의 분위기는 화평하고 웅대한 풍도를 느끼게 한다. 이번 음반에는 여민락 4장부터 7장까지 수록되어있다. 전체 10장으로 구성되어 있으나 현재는 7장까지만 전해지고 있다. 1장부터 3장까지는 느린 속도를 4장부터 7장까지는 조금 빠른 속도를 각각 가지고 있다. |
