Jesuit Scholastics in JCAP 1:10 예수회 박수영 테오도로 신부의 미니 앨범 "모든 게 새로워 (Everything's New Again) 박수영 테오도로SJ(Teo Park SJ) "모든 게 새로워(Everything's New Again)"는 예수회 박수영 테오도로 신부가 로욜라의 성 이냐시오의 회심 500주년을 기념하는 '이냐시오의해'를 맞이하며 성인과 이냐시오 영성을 살아가는 모든 분들께 헌정하는 노래이다. 이 미니 앨범은 기존 작품들을 포함하여 총 12 트랙을 담고 있다. 박수영 테오도로 신부는 예수회 입회 전부터 기타 연주와 밴드 활동에 심취해 있던 음악을 사랑하는 사람이었다. 프로페셔널 음악가로서의 진로를 고민하던 중에 하느님의 부르심에 이끌려 예수회 입회를 선택한 박 신부는 수도생활 안에서 계속해서 창작 활동을 이어왔다. 캄보디아에서의 선교 체험을 바탕으로 한 싱글 1집 '행복하여라'(The Beatitudes, 2014년)와 예수회의 독특한 국제 공동체 생활 체험 안에서 빚어낸 싱글 2집 '하느님 발견하기(KutafutaMungu, 2017)를 발표하였다. 박수영 테오도로 신부의 앨범에 수록된 노래들은 거의 모든 곡이 그의 기도 체험과 관련되어 있다. 그의 많은 습작과 발표 곡들은 항상 기도에서 시작된다. 2016년에는 사순 시기를 지내며 전례에 사용되는 화답송을 묵상하며 40일 동안 매일 한 곡씩 만들었고, 이번에 발표하는 "모든 게 새로워(Everything's New Again)"는 '영신수련' 연피정 중, 머리 속에 생각이 너무 많고 복잡할 때, 피정 집 뒷산을 오르며 '주님의 기도'를 한 걸음에 한 글자씩을 외우다가 곡의 시작 부분 멜로디를 얻게 되었다고 한다. 그는 마음이 복잡해지면 바로 하느님을 찾았고, 하느님을 만나며 음악적 영감을 선물 받았다. 그러면서 그의 영혼은 다시금 하느님 은총에 대한 새로운 감각을 되찾았다. 이에 대해 그는 "앞으로도 또 잃어버릴지 모를 감각이지만, 잃어버린 것보다 언제나 더 큰 것을 되찾도록 이끌어 주시는 주님을 믿는 과정이다."라고 말한다. 이렇게 그의 음악은 영적 여정의 열매이고, 사제로서의 사목 활동이기도 하다. 예수회 로마 총원은 2021년 5월 20일 부터2022년 7월 31일 까지를 '이냐시오의해'로 선포했다. 5월 20일은 예수회를 창설하신 '로욜라의 성 이냐시오'가 군인 시절 참전했던 팜플로나 전투에서 무릎에 대포를 맞은 날이다. 성인은 이 사건으로 평생 다리를 저는 장애인이 되었다. 한 개인에게 불행했던 이 날이 특별한 이유는 이 부상을 계기로 지극히 세속적이었던 그가 '회심'하여 이전과는 완전히 다른 삶을 살아가게 되었기 때문이다.
