Something In My Heart (Bonus Track) 새로운 도전을 위한 굿 바이, 로익솝(Röyksopp)의 5th 정규앨범 로빈(Robyn)의 ‘Do It Again’ 리믹스 포함 2CD 발매! 로익숍의 마지막 앨범! 춥고 감성적인 나라의 대명사로 자리 잡은 노르웨이. 80년대 아하(A-HA)의 전성기와는 또 다른 스타일로 전 세계를 사로 잡은 로익숍. 2001년 으로 데뷔한 로익숍이 13년 만에 자신들의 정규 마지막 앨범 를 발표했다. 현재 일렉트로닉 씬의 절대적인 이름으로 떠오른데다 전 세계 많은 팬들이 존재하는 시점의 갑작스러운 발표다. 하지만 다행히 음악 생활을 접는다는 의미가 아니라, 앨범 포맷으로는 더 이상 발표를 하지 않겠다는 의미라고. 스베인 베르제(Svein Berge)와 토비요른 브룬트란드(Torbjørn Brundtland)은 왜 앨범 포맷을 포기한 것일까? 대답은 이렇다. “좀 더 실험적이고 개방적인 방식으로 음악을 만들고 싶다. 기존의 앨범 형식 보다는 LP로 작업하기를 원한다.” 이어, 기존 앨범 형태의 마지막이 될 이들의 에 대해 “5집에서 어두운 주제를 다뤘다. 이런 솔직한 접근방식은 다분히 개인적이고 결단적인 선택이다.”라고 이야기했다. 중독적인 일렉트로닉 음악과 적절한 피처링이 빛나는 앨범 앨범에 앞서 올해 스웨덴 최고의 히로인 로빈(Robyn)과 함께 한 ‘Do it Again’ 투어가 단연 화제가 된 바 있다. 로빈은 20대 후반이 되며 일렉트로닉과 댄스팝으로 궤도를 정립하고 2007년 클리어럽(kleerup)의 ‘With Every Heartbeat’에 피처링에 참여하는 등 이제껏 콜라보 뮤지션과의 좋은 시너지를 경험해왔다. 이번 앨범 중 로빈은 ‘Monument(T.I.E. Version)’, ‘Rong’(‘Wrong’에서 묵음을 삭제한 의미)으로 보컬과 공동 작곡으로 참여했다. 한국 반에는 정규 앨범에 수록되지 않았을 로빈의 ‘Do It Again’(RYXP version)을 비롯해 5곡의 리믹스가 보너스 CD로 수록되었다. 로익솝은 특유의 차갑고 세련된 정서가 담긴 선 발매 싱글 ‘Monument(T.I.E.
